Dave

I saw the picture of your father Dr. A C Dufour on the web and his utube videos.
I beleive your sister is Jenny Dufore. I lived down the street from you on Meisner in Elkhart. Your sister and I were long time good friends. I lost touch with her after she marrried her second husband, I belive he is a judge in Elkhart. If I am correcet and you are her brother or a reletive, tell Jenny to write me as I miss talking with her. Trust me she will know who I am and say something like "I cannot believe you found Scotty Moore". If I am wrong I apoligize for the post, but I did know a Dr Dufore in Elkhart, In. He saved my dog Scruffy he was hit by a car on lexington I think more than once and was a good artist. I visted the home many times when Jenny and I would play as children and saw some of his art around the house. Great man and your mother was a great person too I really liked her. Sincerely Little Scotty Moore from Elkhart.

Hi Barb -- The only history I know about this cemetery is on the signs there, but it is interesting. Predominant families here are the Storeys, the Osborns and the Easts.

Wow I love your photos. I am a cemetery freak, I admit. I love the idea, and the truth that life goes on in the cemetery, and yes life is very fragile.
I am no fan of spiders though, ewwwww,

Actually, Dave, the woman was glaring at the videographer. She thought he was photographing her surreptitiously. Note the "waddya doin' boy" look on her face. She is unwilling to accept that her days of being ogled are over and the camera is no longer on her.

Thanks for the input, Gail. It's possible I've met Jere, too, because Phil gets a little brass group together for the Lions Club at Christmas to run around to the bars and collect money.

It appears this barn is owned by Jere Bigler (he's one of the Goshen branch of the family). He would also be a distant relative of mine -- probably about 6th or 7th cousin. Jere used to play in the brass group with Phil Penn a few years ago, and I've met him a few times. Nice guy -- but then all of us Biglers are nice people!

I used to have a neat Rapid Omega medium format camera system. It was the lest expensive way to build a high quality medium format system. The camera had detachable magazines you load with film before attaching. There were 4 lenses made from wide angle to 180mm. I had the 3 most common. I also had two of the close-up lenses. The range finder view was small but worked well. It was all built like the company had pride in it's products. The knobs were the only plastic parts. Another nice feature was the negatives were 8x10 proportion without having to crop out the top and bottom of square negatives.

LOVE Holga images. The cameras are inexpensive so I've been tempted to buy one, but it's the going back to film part that stops me every time I consider it.
