U.S 33 South, Dunlap, IN
US 33 South of Elkhart has been undergoing road construction for at least three years, and although it has become extremely annoying for those of us who drive down to the shopping area that’s between Elkhart and downtown Goshen, there’s an added benefit: you have to slow down long enough to notice some of the weird, oddball building and businesses that are hanging on the railroad track side of the highway. Here are a couple of these.

This little guy greeted me in the bathtub this morning. With his legs, he was about the diameter of a fifty-cent piece, maybe a little bigger. We live on the river in Elkhart, and spiders this size are pretty common, but most of them don’t come inside the house.
